This will be a free Q&A session where you can ask Chris any questions you have about green coffee or the steps in the process from growing to storing the unroasted beans (for example, questions about processing methods, direct trade, quality assessment).
Chris Kornman:
Chris Kornman is an experienced roaster, green coffee trader and coffee quality specialist, researcher, author (including of the book Green Coffee: A Guide for Roasters and Buyers) and director of education at The Crown: Royal Coffee Lab and Tasting Room in Oakland, California. He has extensive experience in coffee grading, roasting, sourcing, is a traveller and tinkerer.
He is well known from many articles and speaking engagements in publications and events such as Roast Magazine, Daily Coffee News, Perfect Daily Grind, Coffee T&I, SCA Expo and the Roasters Guild Retreat & Sensory Summit.
