Green Coffee Trend Drink
Celebrated as a slimming aid and stomach-friendly caffeinated beverage, green coffee is gaining more and more followers.
We'll show you how to easily prepare green coffee.
The high content of chlorogenic acid is said to have a weight-reducing effect and bring other health-promoting effects. Green coffee is therefore sold as an extract in pill form or in tea bags or loose for pouring over.
We cannot assess whether this is true and whether green coffee leads to weight loss. However, the infusion itself tastes good - it reminds a bit of herbal or fennel tea. Since it also contains caffeine, it is a very mild and digestible pick-me-up.
Recipe for homemade green coffee
1.) Crush 10 grams of raw coffee beans
Use a strong grinder for this, but never your coffee grinder! The hard beans would damage your grinder.
2.) Pour about 200ml of hot water (approx. 90°C) over the raw coffee
Wait for about 10 minutes.
3.) Strain the mixture through a sieve or a filter
And you're done. You can also combine the green coffee with other herbs, e.g. peppermint, or sweeten it with some honey.
