Preparation methods
Kenya SL-28 should be drunk single origin or can be added to a blend to add a fruity, complex note.
Perfect as filter coffee (also Aeropress) or in the French Press. Or alternatively as a cappuccino - the milk brings out the fruity notes and reduces the acidity.
Origin
Coffee from Kenya is famous for very clear, complex berry and fruit flavours, sweetness but also acidity.
This coffee is grown in the Kirinyaga district, close to the Mount Kenya massif. The area is characterised by volcanic soils as well as small hills and valleys with an extension of the lowlands. Thanks to these conditions, outstanding coffees grow in this Central Province of Kenya. The coffee is grown and processed by the Kibirigwi Farmers Cooperative using manual techniques. Eco-friendly practices are used to protect the native flora.
