Profile
This coffee is a very mild Robusta with notes of chocolate, nuts and honey. It has an intense body and a spicy aftertaste. Robusta coffees are less exciting in taste than Arabicas, but are popular in blends because they give the coffee body and, above all, a beautiful crema. They also contain significantly more caffeine than Arabicas.

Preparation Methods
Robusta coffees are mainly used for espresso blends. They give the espresso body, take the acidity, and also have more caffeine than Arabica beans.
This is a very high-quality Robusta, which is why lovers often drink it by variety – for example, as an espresso or in a Bialetti cooker.
Origin
This Robusta originates in Karnataka in the Chikmagalur District, one of the best Robusta regions in India. It comes from three estates – Balehonnur, Manamboli and Raigode – which have been growing this coffee for several decades. It is cultivated at 750 to 1,000 metres above sea level in a clayey soil. The coffee is harvested, processed and selected very carefully, which is why it is very popular with lovers of espresso blends.
Roasting Recommendation for India Parchment
We recommend a darker (full city+) to light French roast to emphasize the nutty notes.
