Roasting with the Behmor home roaster is very easy. The machine comes with a few pre-set profiles that allow you to roast good coffee without prior knowledge. Nevertheless, the result will be significantly better if you dare to try manual roasting and adjust the profiles a bit.
The current US Coffee Roasting Champion Andrew Coe has shared some of his best profiles with us, which I will list below. Before you roast coffee with these profiles, you need to familiarise yourself with the basic functions of the machine. By the way, you can find the original versions of the profiles in Fahrenheit and pounds on Andrew's website.
You can see the two temperatures A (exhaust) & B (side wall) by pressing the A or B button. You can adjust the drum speed with the D button. Press the C button when you reach the first crack.
