Precise preparation for perfect filter extractions

Bloom is an innovative tool for preparing the coffee bed for filter and pour-over brews. In just seconds, Bloom breaks up clumps, removes hidden air pockets, reduces static, lifts chaff to the surface, and creates a perfectly level grounds bed. The result: faster wetting, more even flow, and consistent flavor — whether in the café, at home, or on the competition stage.

Dual-Needle System

Bloom features two needle configurations: straight needles and fan needles. The straight needles penetrate deeply into the grounds, break up clumps, and evenly distribute density. The fan needles move the top layer, lift chaff to the surface, and reduce “choking” of the coffee bed for more even extractions.

Retractive Design

Thanks to the innovative, precisely controlled helix mechanism, the needles can be safely extended and retracted. This allows quick switching between modes and protects the needles during transport.

Static Reduction

Bloom’s specially engineered needles attract fines and chaff and minimize static charge — up to 20% more effective than conventional materials. This results in more even distribution of the grounds, the release of trapped air, and noticeably improved extraction consistency.

FlowTip for faster wetting

The unique FlowTip design creates a small indentation in the coffee bed after needling. This ensures faster, more even wetting and reduces bubble formation as well as channeling between brews.

Modular and customizable

The needles can be configured individually (up to 15 needles), and the internal components can be easily disassembled for maintenance or reconfiguration.
